Phew. What a couple of weeks - all of which have been all about sleep in Koen's world! We have finally figured out a perfect nap schedule that has Koen napping well during the day and fits in well with Bodhi's school schedule. We drop Bodhi off at 9 and then Koen is fast asleep in bed by 9:15am. He wakes up about 10:45, nurses and then off to pick Bodhi back up for 11:30. Lunch at 12:30 and then back down for a nap by 1pm until about 2:30. It's been working really well for us. Now we just have to get the nighttime sorted! We started to make some progress with sleep training at night and then half way through "sleep week" Koen got a cold and cut four new teeth all at once. Sleep training - over. So the little monkey has snuck his way back into my bed (not that I'm complaining!) and is sleeping virtually through the night in there. Next weekend we're off to Cambridge and then when we get back it's sleep training round two!
I often find myself looking at Koen jealously thinking to myself "you actually have the time and ability to sleep anytime you want right now - take it while you can!!!!!!!!". Zzzzzzzz.
