So here I am so excited to have a little alone time with Koen and what does he decide to do? Sleep! We've gone 7 months with tiny little cat naps all morning and now, as soon as we have this time to spend one on one, he decides to sleep all morning! I guess now that Bodhi is at school he doesn't see any reason to wake up! So solo time with Koen has become solo time with myself. Not too bad either. I've decided to take this first week back at school to just rest, maybe nap, watch a little TV, putter about and take a little time to myself. Next week I'll get back into the swing of full on daily routines which, let's be honest, I'm kind of craving.
Koen has been an absolute rock star this week with his naps being pushed back almost a full hour. He gets a little fussy around his usual nap time but enjoys sitting up in the stroller on the way to school and falls fast asleep on the way home. He seems to already be getting the hang of it. Could it be that I'm raising ANOTHER creature of habit?
