Dear Koen,
What a wonderful boy you are! You have reached this incredible point in your babyhood with smiles, giggles, and an ever chubby belly. Daddy, Bodhi and I are so in love you. We just can't get enough of your beautiful spirit, your smiling eyes and your constantly kicking/dancing/bicycling legs that just go and go and go whenever you are excited about something. You still LOVE the bath and this summer we have discovered that this love also includes swimming! You have been in countless pools and lakes this summer and have loved it - even the freezing cold ones! You continue to watch everything your brother does and the bond between you could not be stronger. You are both so lucky to have each other. Sleep continues to be an interesting part of our lives, you just really want to party in the evenings and have no time for staying asleep! You sleep most of the night with Mommy still and although the heat has broken up our snuggles a little bit, I still sneak in as many cuddles as I can, knowing that this won't last much longer. Thank you for being who you are, a special boy with a wonderful heart, a sweet, gentle demeanour and a genuine interest in life and the world around you. I love you sooooo much.
